ARK News… The armed factions of the Syrian opposition continue to commit violations against nature in the city of Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan.

Private sources reported to Rebaz News, on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, that a number of olive trees were uprooted in the village of Ster in Afrin, on orders from the official of the “Economic Office” among the “Sultan Murad” militants, Abu Talal al-Agedi.

The sources added that the person called Abu Talal al-Agedi, as a result of the continuous cutting down of trees, had collected about 50 tons of firewood in front of his house to sell later.

Organizations and activists confirm that more than one and a half million olive trees and forest trees have been uprooted since the beginning of Turkey and the armed factions’ control of the city, its environs and villages in 2018, without any perpetrator or actor being tried or prosecuted.
