President Barzani receives the Turkish Minister of Defense
ARK News… President Masoud Barzani received at the Salahuddin Resort, Yashar Guler, the Turkish Minister of Defense, and his accompanying delegation.
The Turkish delegation included Metin Gorak, Chief of Staff of the Turkish Army, Ali Riza Gunay, the Turkish ambassador to Iraq, and a number of Turkish political and military officials.
During the meeting, opinions and viewpoints were exchanged regarding the political situation in the region, the latest developments in the Middle East and the threats of terrorism, as well as relations between Iraq and the Kurdistan Region with Turkey.
During the meeting, "coordination between Turkey, Iraq, and the Kurdistan Region was emphasized in order to ensure stability, prosperity, and joint work between them."
Relations between the Kurdistan Region and Turkey and consolidating their ties were other topics of the meeting.
