Domiz... Commemorating the forty-day of the Kurdish writer and poet Musa Zakhurani

ARK News… The Kurdistan Region Representative of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union commemorated the fortieth anniversary of the Kurdish writer and poet Musa Zakhurani in Domiz camp in Duhok Governorate in the Kurdistan Region.

In the presence of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria, a number of Kurdish writers and intellectuals, and a large number of audiences, the Kurdistan Region representative of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers Union commemorated, on Saturday, January 27, 2024, in the Soz Hall for conference in the Domiz camp in Duhok, at six thirty in the evening, on the fortieth anniversary of the Kurdish writer and poet Musa Zakhorani.

Haji Kalo, a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, delivered the party’s speech in which he touched on Zakhurani’ s militant virtues, his dedication and sincerity, his honorable history of struggle, and his recognized role in culture and knowledge and consolidating them in the service of the justice and legitimacy of the Kurdish cause.

“Chiya Zakhurani” gave a speech to the family of the deceased, in which he thanked the attendees and their loyalty to the writers and poets, and pledged to follow his father’s path in serving culture, knowledge, and the just Kurdish cause. At the conclusion of the ceremony, a documentary film was shown about his literary, cultural, and militant life.
