Militants of the Revolutionary Youth Movement affiliated with the SDF kidnap a minor in Qamishlo
ARK News… Militants of the Revolutionary Youth Movement, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), kidnapped a minor girl from Qamishlo city in Syrian Kurdistan.
Local sources said that militants of the Revolutionary Youth Movement, affiliated with the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), kidnapped the 14-year-old minor, Maya Ezaddin Shaker, from Qamishlo city in Syrian Kurdistan.
The sources added that the family of the kidnapped minor contacted all parties affiliated with the PYD administration, but to no avail, and Maya’s fate remains unknown since her kidnapping.
Although the Syrian Democratic Forces signed an action plan with the United Nations in order to end and prevent the recruitment of children under the age of 18 and their use in military actions, as the plan was signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the SDF, Mazloum Kobani, with the United Nations representative for children and armed conflict, Virginia Gamba, but the involvement of minors in battles and their recruitment is still going on.
