The Presidency of the Kurdish National Council meets with Barzani al-Khaled Locality

ARK News… The Presidency of the Kurdish National Council and the Office of Local Councils met with the Barzani Al-Khalid locality, “Tal Tamr and Zarkan”, on Friday, January 26, 2024.

The Presidential delegation included the head of the Council, Ne'mat Dawoud, the member of the Presidency, Abdul Bari Khalaf, and the member of the Local Council’s office, Farhad Sheikho.

During the meeting, the head of the Council spoke about the latest political developments and updates on the international, regional and internal arena, especially the situation of the Kurdish National Council and its firm political positions regarding the political solution in Syria in accordance with international resolutions and Turkey’s targeting of vital installations and infrastructure in Syrian Kurdistan.

Dawoud stressed the necessity of working to activate the Council’s role, especially within the ranks of the Syrian opposition and abroad.

For his part, Abdul Bari Khalaf stressed the necessity of working to find a mechanism to work to activate the role of the Kurdish National Council among the masses.

In conclusion, some proposals and demands were presented to provide more services to the people of Tal Tamr.
