Afrin... Barzani Charity organizes a festival on the occasion of World Education Day

ARK News… The Barzani Charity Foundation organized an exhibition of drawing and handicrafts and honored participants in the courses on the occasion of World Education Day in the city of Afrin, Syrian Kurdistan.

On the occasion of World Education Day, the Barzani Center for Culture and Development, affiliated with the Barzani Charity Foundation, organized on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, a special festival that includes a group of different activities, including the opening of an exhibition of drawing and handicrafts by artists, along with traditional dupattas, and the distribution of certificates to graduates of courses and top performers in the baccalaureate degree.

More than 700 people, including representatives of humanitarian and civil organizations, government departments, the Directorate of Education, and heads of councils, participated in the special ceremony for the occasion.

Rawaj Haji, member of the administrative body and responsible for the Afrin file, said about the occasion: With the participation of a number of artists, a special drawing exhibition was opened and certificates were distributed to 140 participants in previous sessions.

Haji added: During the past six months, 13 courses were organized, including computer courses, sewing, mobile phone maintenance and language teaching.
