News networks and local sources confirmed the death of 4 people as a result of the accident, and the victims were: Hani Ahmed Hamza, Farid Akram Hamo, and Milan university academics Adnan Deri and Larinda Muzaffar Shabo.
Local sources reported that a collision occurred between a passenger bus belonging to the Hawler Company and a freight car near the Hattin Junction on the international road (Qamishlo - Hasakah).
According to the source, the bus was transporting “28” passengers, and a number of people were injured as a result of the accident, including university students, and they were transferred to hospitals in the city of Hasakah.
