Opening of the office of the Students and Youth Kurdistan Democratic Union - West in Duhok Governorate
ARK News… In the presence of a number of members of the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in Duhok Governorate, the office of the Kurdistan Democratic Students and Youth Union - Rojava was opened in the Domiz 2004 complex for Syrian Kurdistan refugees.
On Thursday, 21/12/2023, the Students and Youth Kurdistan Democratic Union – West opened its office in the Domiz 2004 Complex to provide support and help to students and youth and consolidate the capabilities in serving them towards progress and prosperity.
The opening ceremony was attended by Haji Kalo, member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, Muhammad Ali Ibrahim, and Hiyam Abdul Rahman Muhammad, members of the party’s central committee, the Kurdistan Region representative of the Syrian Kurdistan Writers’ Union, and Manaf Ahmed Bamerni, official of the mass organizations of the first branch of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (PDK).
During the opening ceremony, Mervan Badini, the branch official of the Students and Youth Kurdistan Democratic Union - West in the Kurdistan Region, welcomed the attendees, and stressed that they will provide support and help to the students and youth and consolidate the capabilities in their service towards progress and prosperity.
The Students and Youth Kurdistan Democratic Union - West was established on September 11, 2013, due to the importance of the great role of youth and students in serving the Kurdish cause. It is considered the first independent youth “institution” in its organizations, formations, projects, and future aspirations.
