A SDF leader was killed in Deir Ez-Zour
ARK News… Sherwan Hassan (Roni Walat), a member of the leadership of the Deir Ez-Zour Military Leadership Council of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), on Tuesday was killed in an explosion that targeted his car in the Deir Ez-Zour countryside.
In a statement, the SDF, on Wednesday, said, December 6, 2023, that Sherwan Hassan, who bears the nom de guerre (Roni Walat), lost his life as a result of “a cowardly terrorist operation against him east of Deir Ez-Zour,” without giving any further details.
Local Syrian websites reported that Sherwan Hassan and his companion lost their lives after his car was blown up near the Omar oil field in the Deir Ez-Zour countryside.
The "SDF" is subjected to many operations targeting its military officials in Deir Ez-Zour, and the pace of these targeting escalated after the armed clashes between the "SDF" and Ibrahim Al-Havel.
