President Barzani affirms the Kurdistan Region's commitment to a culture of love and coexistence
ARK News… President Masoud Barzani received Ghattas Hazim, the Greek Orthodox Bishop of Baghdad, Kuwait, and the Sultanate of Oman, and they discussed the problems and obstacles facing Christians, today, November 28, 2023.
During the meeting that took place at the Salah al-Din Resort in Erbil, President Barzani stressed the commitment of the people of the Kurdistan Region to a culture of love and coexistence among all components.
For his part, the bishop thanked the efforts of President Masoud Barzani in protecting the components of the Kurdistan Region, expressing his appreciation to the people of the region, who opened their doors to tens of thousands of displaced Christians in the difficult times that Iraq went through.
In the meeting, the two sides discussed the problems and obstacles facing Christians in Iraq and the region.
