Barzani Charity Organizes a Competition for Dozens of Women in “Domiz 1” Camp

ARK News… The Barzani Charity Foundation honored dozens of women in food, pastries preparation competition in the Domiz refugee camp in Duhok Governorate in the Kurdistan Region.

Barzani Charity posted on its Facebook page today that, “On 21/11/2023, in cooperation with the Lemon Tree Organization, it organized a competition to prepare food, pastries, and sweets for 54 women in Domiz 1 camp within the borders of Duhok Governorate in the Kurdistan Region.

The Foundation added that it distributed prizes to the participants and provided sums of money for first, second and third place.

The Barzani Charity Foundation is a non-governmental organization, active in the humanitarian field in the Kurdistan Region, and works to provide aid to refugees and displaced people who have been exposed to crises, people with special needs, and orphans.

The Foundation entered the Afrin region of Syrian Kurdistan after the earthquake last February to provide relief aid, and on the fourth of last June, the Foundation opened a center Culturally and developmentally, it is named “Barzani Center for Culture and Development” in Afrin.
