ARK News… The United Nations said that in two months, only 174 humanitarian aid trucks entered northwestern Syria.

It indicated in a previous report that 15.3 million people need humanitarian assistance throughout Syria, an increase of 5 percent from 2022.

The United Nations noted that this is the highest number of people in need of humanitarian assistance since the beginning of the "crisis" in Syria.

It also stated that the regime forces and Russia's continued bombing of Idlib and the western countryside of Aleppo, since the start of the escalation on October 5, has led to the damage of more than 2,300 sites and the displacement of more than 12,000 people.

On July 11, the UN Security Council failed to extend the decision on the mechanism for delivering humanitarian aid to Syria, after Russia used its veto, which led to the complete cessation of the entry of aid from the Bab al-Hawa border crossing with Turkey, Meanwhile, Bab al-Salama crossing is witnessing very weak movement, despite the exception in effect until mid-October.
