Domiz camp... Supplies and needs from the Barzani Charity Foundation for 9 schools

ARK News… The Barzani Charity Foundation distributed essential supplies and needs to schools in Domiz 1 refugee camp in Duhok Governorate in the Kurdistan Region.

Barzani Charity Foundation said on its Facebook page: “On 22/10/2023, in coordination between the Barzani Charity Foundation, the Duhok Education Directorate - School Supplies Department, and UNICEF, necessary supplies and needs were distributed to 9 schools in Domiz 1 camp.”

She added that “the aid consists of supplies for teaching the Arabic language, science and mathematics, and boxes of educational games,” and indicated that the number of students attending these schools is about 9,293 students.

Barzani Charity Foundation, a non-governmental organization active in the humanitarian field in the Kurdistan Region, works to provide assistance to refugees, displaced people who have been exposed to crises, people with special needs, and orphans.

The Foundation entered the Afrin region of Syrian Kurdistan after the earthquake last February to provide relief aid, and on June 4, it opened a cultural and development center called the “Barzani Center for Culture and Development.”
