
Turkish bombing targets the Asayish PYD center in the village of Hamza Bag in Derik
ARK News… In conjunction with the bombing of sites in the countryside of Qamishlo, Tirbaspiye and Kobani, Turkish aircraft targeted the “Asayish PYD” center in the village of Hamza Bag in Derik, Syrian Kurdistan.
Local sources reported that a Turkish warplane targeted the Asayish PYD center in the village of Hamza Bag in Derik with three strikes.
Adding that, after the bombing, ambulances began transporting the injured to the hospitals of Derik, Girke Lage, Chil Agha and Qamishlo, amid an appeal to the mosques of the region to go to donate blood.
The Asayish PYD media center said in a statement that targeting their center in the Kucharat region led to the killing and wounding of a number of its members, indicating that a statement with details would be published “later.”
The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that, at ten o'clock in the evening, warplanes targeted "6 sites and institutions belonging to the YPG and PKK in northern Syria."
The Turkish bombing, on Sunday-Monday evening, affected the Oda and Gir Dahol oil fields in Tirbaspiye, the outskirts of the villages of Mulla Abbas and Shalhoumiya, north of Tirbaspiye in the Qamishlo countryside, and the villages of Tal Shair and Goran in the city of Kobani.
Turkey launched its military air operation on 5/10/2023 against vital sites, centers, installations and infrastructure of Syrian Kurdistan. According to media agencies, more than 100 vital sites and centers have been targeted so far.
