ARK News… On Friday, 6/10/2023, Turkish aircraft bombed the Al-Suwaidiya Electricity Generating Station for the eighth time in a row, and according to the reports received, a number of people were injured.

Local sources reported that, on Friday, Turkish aircraft bombed the Swedish power station eight times, causing major damage to the station, as a result of which electricity was cut off in Derik, Girke Lage, and Tirbaspiye, and three people were injured.

Local sources confirmed that the Al-Suwaidiya Electricity Generating Station was targeted five times by drones, and three times by warplanes, and until the news was prepared, Turkish planes were still flying in the skies of the city of Derik and the village of Al-Suwaidiya.

Local sources confirmed that Turkish aircraft bombed the oil refinery near the vital Swedish facility, causing major damage to the refinery.

Since Thursday, Turkish aircraft have bombed four other electricity generation stations, which are “Maysaloun neighborhood station in Qamishlo, Amuda station, Tal Ziwan station in Qamishlo, and the Western Dam station in Hasakah.

The Al-Suwaidiya power generation station is located in the village of Al-Suwaidiya, west of the city of Derik in Syrian Kurdistan, and it is one of the stations responsible for supplying several areas in Hasakah Governorate with electricity.
