Qamishlo... A delegation from the Kurdistan Women’s Union - Syria visits the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Organization
ARK News… A delegation from the Qamishlo branch of the administrative body of the Kurdistan Women Union -Syrian visited the headquarters of the Assyrian Democratic Organization in the city of Qamishlo in Syrian Kurdistan, on Saturday, September 30, 2023.
The delegation was headed by Arya Jumaa, a leader in the Syrian Kurdistan Women’s Union, and was received by Sarah Barsoum, a member of the organization’s General Secretariat and responsible for the Women’s Office, Aveline Kouriya, an official in charge of the Women’s Committee, Samira Danho, a member of the Assyrian Women’s Committee, and Laila Jabru, a member of the Assyrian Women’s Committee.
During the meeting, the conversation revolved around issues of concern to women. The importance of joint work between the two parties was emphasized
The meeting concluded with an agreement to continue bilateral meetings between the two parties.
