Turkey warns Bafel Talabani against continuing his relations with PKK

ARK News… Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Guler warned Pavel Talabani, co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Party, of continuing his relations and support for the PKK, threatening to carry out “violent action” if these relations continue.

Speaking to the Turkish newspaper Milliyet, Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Guler said: “Pavel Talabani, the co-chair of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Party, has often warned us about the increasing activities of the PKK in Sulaymaniyah, and the continuation of his relations with the PKK.

The Turkish Defense Minister added: We are monitoring all the movements and activities of Bafel Talabani, but we do not want to carry out more violent action. We have said this to him repeatedly, but he has not reviewed himself or modified his behavior. These relationships will turn against him in any case, and they have already turned.

The Turkish minister added: We hope that Bafel Talabani will stop his support for the PKK and sever his ties with this organization as soon as possible. We see and know everything... and whatever is necessary will be done.
