ARK News... After resuming its work in distributing aid, the Barzani Charitable Foundation continues its work in distributing humanitarian aid in the city of Afrin and its environs and villages in Syrian Kurdistan.

Today, April 1, 2023, the Barzani Charitable Foundation provided relief to those affected by the earthquake in the village of Hamlikah in the city of Jenderes, according to a source from the village.

A source told ARK yesterday that the villages of Kawarka, Khalta, Kharza, Qjuma, Barjaka, Qili, Mansoura, and Karsiq benefited during the past three days from the aid provided by the Barzani Charitable Foundation to those affected by the earthquake.

For its part, the Foundation said in a post on its Facebook page: The humanitarian aid to those affected by the earthquake included (450 families) in the villages of Kawarka, Khalta, and Kharza, and the aid consists of foodstuffs, blankets, clothes, and cleaning materials.

In its latest statistics, the Foundation said: As of March 25, 2023, 61,782 families affected by the earthquake in Afrin benefited from humanitarian aid.
