Amouda locality of the Kurdish National Council in Syria condemns the Jenderes massacre

ARK News... At the invitation of the Kurdish National Council in Syria, Amouda locality went out a protest in the center of Amouda, in Syrian Kurdistan, to denounce the crime committed by the militants of the Jaysh Al Sharqiya Eastern Army against the Peshmerg family in Jenderes.

Where a large number of representatives of political parties and the people of the city of Amouda and its countryside, on Tuesday 28/3/2023, gathered in the middle of the city market to condemn the Jenderes massacre.

The media of the Kurdish National Council in Syria said: The audience and the masses were welcomed by Idris Haj Younis, and after standing a minute of silence on the souls of the martyrs of Afrin, Jenderes, the martyrs of Kurds and Kurdistan, and on the immortal spirit of Barzani, the speech of the General Secretariat of the National Council was delivered by Hindiya Youssef.

The speach said: The Kurdish National Council in Syria, in appreciation of your positions in supporting the Syrian people in their ordeal, and your interest in what they are suffering, what is important to them is to convey to you the repercussions of what happened on the night of the twentieth of March in the city of Jenderes in the Afrin region, within the framework of the series of violations and crimes committed Armed factions have been practicing it by force of arms against the people of Afrin since March 2018, which the International Committee for Human Rights described as war crimes and crimes against humanity, and no deterrent measure was taken against them despite the appeals and demands of the international community and the parties supporting them, they went too far to kill in cold blood a group of Kurdish youth in front of their home in the stricken city of Jenderes and in the sight of their families and children as they lit the flame of Newroz, the Kurdish national holiday, and in front of the horror of the tragedy and the attempts of the interim government and the leaders of those factions to evade responsibility and describe it as a criminal incident, the Kurdish National Council, based on its national and patriotic responsibility, puts you in a picture of the situation and what demands it in the hope that it will obtain your support for it in:
1- Expelling all armed factions from the cities, towns, and populated areas there and preventing them from interfering in people's lives.
2- Condemning this crime and the crimes that affect the Kurdish people in Afrin and its geography, and the demographic change they are exposed to, targeting the original Kurdish presence in it, and returning the stolen rights and property to their owners.
3- Submitting the perpetrators and their faction leaders to the International Criminal Court and considering those factions as terrorists.
4- Forming a civil administration for the region from its original inhabitants and with the protection of the United Nations, and providing supplies and capabilities for the safe return of the displaced.
The Kurdish National Council looks forward to your support in achieving these demands, as it sees that this will alleviate the suffering of the people of the region from the effects of the catastrophe of earthquakes and the crimes they were subjected to, and restore hope for what they revolted for in freedom and dignity.

A speech was delivered about the Jandris massacre by Ismail Sinan, for his part, the poet Avdaly Amoudi delivered some poems about Afrin and Jandris, according to the media of the Kurdish National Council in Syria.
