The Kurdish National Council in Syria comes out in a mass demonstration in Lebanon

ARK News... The Kurdish National Council in Syria, ENKS, organized a protest demonstration on Sunday, March 26, 2023, Sunday in front of the European Union embassy in Beirut, the Lebanese capital, to protest against the heinous crime committed by the militants of the Eastern Army in Jenderes in the countryside of Afrin, in Syrian Kurdistan, on the night of the Newroz holiday, which passed Four of the Peshmerga family were martyred.

The Kurdish demonstrators denounced the heinous crime committed by the militants of the Eastern Army in Jenderes, Afrin, in front of the European Union embassy in Beirut.

In a memorandum, the demonstrators called for the perpetrators to be handed over to an international court to receive their just punishment, to remove the factions and militias from the region, and to allow the residents to return to their villages and cities.


Mustafa Sheikho, a member of the Logical Council of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, read the message of the National Council, which stated:

The Kurdish National Council in Syria, in appreciation of your stances in supporting the Syrian people in their ordeal, and your interest in what they are suffering, what they are interested in conveys to you the repercussions of what happened on the night of the twentieth of March in the city of Jenderes in the Afrin region, within the framework of a series of violations and crimes committed by the armed factions forcefully Weapons against the people of the Afrin region, since March 2018, which the International Committee for Human Rights described as war crimes and crimes against humanity, and no deterrent action was taken against them despite the appeals and demands of the international community and the parties supporting it. The stricken Jenderes, and in the sight of their families and children lighting the flame of Newroz, the Kurdish national holiday, and in the face of the horror of the catastrophe and the attempts of the interim government and the leaders of those factions to evade responsibility and describe it as a criminal incident. To obtain your support in:
1- Expelling all armed factions from the cities, towns, and populated areas there and preventing them from interfering in people's lives.
2- Condemning this crime and the crimes that affect the Kurdish people in Afrin and its geography, and the demographic change they are exposed to, targeting the original Kurdish presence in it, and returning the stolen rights and property to their owners.
3- Submitting the perpetrators and their faction leaders to the International Criminal Court and considering those factions as terrorists.
4- Forming a civil administration for the region from its original inhabitants and with the protection of the United Nations, and providing supplies and capabilities for the safe return of the displaced.
The Kurdish National Council looks forward to your support in achieving these demands, as it sees that this will alleviate the suffering of the people of the region from the effects of the catastrophe of earthquakes and the crimes they were subjected to, and restore hope for what they revolted for in freedom and dignity.
