A landmine explosion kills the Peshmerga, Khalat Ahmed Abdullah

ARK News…The General Directorate for Counter-Terrorism in the Kurdistan Region on Thursday said that a young man, a member of the Peshmerga forces, died as a result of a landmine explosion on a mountain located in Erbil Governorate.

A statement by the Directorate stated that the young man, Khalat Ahmed Abdullah, died of his wounds as a result of a landmine explosion.

The statement indicated that Khalat Ahmed Abdullah is a member of the Peshmerga forces, and he was present in Mount Muska in the Mizori - Bala region, in order to collect spring herbs.
