Haji Kalo to ARK: To end the violations, the administration of Afrin must be handed over to its original Kurdish people

ARK News... Haji Kalo, a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, said, "We must work to win support for the Kurds in Afrin and remove the factions from it."

In an interview with ARK on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, about the crime committed by the Eastern Army factions in Jenderes, Haji Kalo confirmed that it is not the first time that the Kurds have been subjected to crimes and violations in this way, and during the era of the Syrian regime, hundreds of tragedies have also been committed against the Kurds in Syrian Kurdistan from Afrin to Derik.

Kalo added, "These crimes and violations are being repeated by people who claim that they want freedom and equality for Syria, and for Syria to be for all Syrians and for there to be no discrimination, and they are bringing about demographic change in Afrin and cutting down olive trees that symbolize peace."

Haji Kalo stressed that the perpetrators of the crime must be arrested and severely punished, and mass demonstrations must be organized in Syrian Kurdistan and the Kurdistan Region in front of the United Nations headquarters and embassies of large countries to expel the factions from the Kurdish areas, as all factions commit violations against the people of those areas.

A member of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria believed that the administration of Afrin, Jenderes, Serê Kaniyê, and Girê Spî should be handed over to its original Kurdish population to end these violations.

Kalo concludes his speech, by calling on America, Turkey, and Russia to support the Kurdish people in the face of the violations that they are exposed to at the hands of these factions.
