Kaddo said in a post on his Facebook page, followed by ARK: "The killing of Kurdish civilians celebrating the national holiday of the Kurdish people, Newroz, with live bullets in cold blood in broad daylight in Jenderes, the wounded, who have not yet recovered from the horror of the earthquake, because they lit the flame of Newroz." He continued, "It is a sedition that requires the urgent prosecution of the perpetrators, in a fair, public, and transparent manner."

He explained, "Any delay in this will make the political and administrative authority of the Coalition factions lose their credibility before the factions, and that is among all Syrians, not just the Kurds among them."
