SDF kidnapped a displaced girl in Aleppo

ARK News... The Syrian Democratic Forces kidnapped a child from the city of Afrin in Aleppo, according to a source he reported on Thursday, March 16, 2023, from the city.

The minor, Khalida Hassan Suleiman, was kidnapped by the SDF in the Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood of Aleppo.

A source close to the family told ARK that the child was kidnapped on the 11th of March, and there is no information about him yet.

He added that she was born on December 7, 2009, and is 13 years old. When searching for her, it was found that she was at the centers of the PYD militants, with the aim of putting her in compulsory recruitment camps.

The source confirmed that her father is missing and since 2019 there is no information about him.

The girl comes from the village of Gewanda in the Rajo district of Afrin, in Syrian Kurdistan.

Although the Syrian Democratic Forces signed an action plan with the United Nations in order to end and prevent the recruitment of children under the age of 18 and their use in military actions, as the plan was signed by the Commander-in-Chief of the SDF, Mazloum Kobani, with the United Nations Representative for Children and Armed Conflict, Virginia Gamba, during An official ceremony was held at the United Nations Palace, on June 29, 2019.
