ARK News... The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, received, at Erbil International Airport, on the afternoon of Tuesday, March 14, 2023, Federal Prime Minister Muhammad Shia' al-Sudani.
Al-Sudani had arrived at Erbil International Airport, with a high-ranking government delegation that included a number of his government's ministers.
It is expected that the prime ministers of Kurdistan and the Iraqi federal government will discuss a number of political, economic, and financial files.
Prime Minister Masrour Barzani wrote on his Twitter account, "We welcome Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani on his first official visit to the Kurdistan Region."
He added, "His Excellency's good intentions are important in restoring confidence. The approval of the federal budget bill and progress in the energy file is a basis for establishing a new, solid relationship."
