Turkey: 21,211 irregular migrants have been deported since the beginning of 2023

ARK News… The Turkish Immigration Administration, on Monday, announced the deportation of 21,211 irregular immigrants since the beginning of this year.
It added in a statement, reported by the Anadolu Agency, that it continues to combat irregular immigration and deport illegal immigrants who entered the country through illegal means.
The statement stated that the last of these deportations took place on Monday, through 4 "charter" flights, which took off from Istanbul Airport with 134 Afghans on board.
In a related context, the statement indicated that the Immigration Department deported 124,441 irregular immigrants last year.
