The invitation stated:
The local council of eastern Qamishlo of the Kurdish National Council invites you to commemorate the March 12 uprising and the Kurdish Martyr's Day by lighting candles on March 11 at six in the evening and standing for five minutes on March 12 from eleven in the morning until eleven and five minutes in mourning for the souls of the martyrs.
The departing is from in front of the eastern office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria to the shrine of the martyrs in the Qaddour Bag cemetery to read Al-Fatihah.
Glory and eternity to the souls of the martyrs of the March 12 uprising and all the martyrs of the Kurds and Kurdistan.
