President Barzani's headquarters criticizes the attempts to make the uprising of the people of Kurdistan partisan

President Barzani's headquarters stressed that the message and goals of the Kurdistan people's uprising cannot be underestimated by making it partisan and emptying it of its essence, pointing out that there are some parties trying to make it a partisan occasion and show themselves as its owners.

In a statement, on Monday (March 6, 2023), the Headquarters expressed its deep regret that on the anniversary of the uprising, "parties and their supporters are trying to make this occasion partisan and consider themselves the owners or the ones who carried it out."

The statement added, "The uprising was the result of the unity and comprehensive struggle of all parties in the Kurdistan Front, the Peshmerga, the secret organizations and all the different groups of Kurdistan, and an extension of the long and continuous struggle of the people of Kurdistan."

The headquarters statement also stressed that "the uprising has a valuable, patriotic, and national message and goals, and it should not be underestimated, made partisan, or emptied of its essence."

In conclusion, the statement of President Barzani's headquarters confirmed, "The uprising succeeded with the efforts and hardship of all parties, and therefore the real outlet for this great event is Kurdistan with all parties, parties, personalities, and citizens."
