Nechirvan Barzani and Al-Sudani express their satisfaction with the developments of the dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad

ARK News... The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, met with the Federal Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani, this evening, Friday, in his last activities today at the Munich Security Conference.

During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in the dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad to solve the outstanding problems between them, the economic conditions and the issue of the Iraqi federal general budget for the year 2023, the political situation in general, the challenges facing the country, and the presence and role of Iraq in the region and at the international level.

The two sides expressed their satisfaction with the continuation of the dialogue between Erbil and Baghdad and its steps and the solution of outstanding problems between them on the basis of the constitution, and they agreed in the opinion that addressing the challenges and threats facing the country requires joint action and cooperation of all forces, parties, and components in Iraq.

In another axis of the meeting, they discussed the recent visit of the Iraqi delegation to America and the Iraqi federal government's measures aimed at protecting the country's economic situation, Iraq's relations with neighboring countries and the countries of the region and the world, and maintaining border security and stability, along with a number of other issues.
