ARK News… The Ministry of Interior in the Kurdistan Region, on Monday, announced the end date for the donation campaign for those affected by the earthquake, and to continue sending it to the afflicted in Turkey and Syria.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the end date for the aid collection campaign will end next Friday, February 17, 2023, when donations will be sent to the afflicted.

The campaign to collect aid, which was launched in many areas in the Kurdistan Region for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, continues on the eighth day of the earthquake that struck large areas in Turkey, Syrian Kurdistan, and Syria.

The campaign continues in Erbil, Sulaimaniyah, the administration of Rabin, Garmiyan, Kirkuk, Duhok, and many other areas.

The governor of Erbil, Omid Khoshnaw, announced earlier that, under the direction of Prime Minister Masrour Barzani, a large campaign was launched to collect donations for the victims of the earthquake that struck both Turkey and Syria.

Masrour Barzani also directed the governors and supervisors of the independent administrations to take the necessary measures in this regard.

Indeed, relief and emergency aid convoys have arrived in Turkey and the Afrin region of Syrian Kurdistan, from Kurdistan Region, and the process will continue, according to officials of the Barzani Charitable Foundation.

The necessary measures are being taken to run emergency relief convoys to the affected areas in Syria.
