A delegation from the "Qatar Red Crescent" enters northern Syria to assess the damage

ARK News… The Director of the Media Relations Office at the Bab al-Hawa crossing, Mazen Alloush, said that an official delegation from the "Qatar Red Crescent" on Sunday arrived at the "Bab al-Hawa" border crossing with Turkey, north of Idlib Governorate, stressing that the delegation will tour the areas of northwestern Syria that are controlled by the Syrian opposition, to see the situation after the earthquake that hit the area, pointing out that the Qatari sports commentator "Siwar Al-Dahab" is accompanying the delegation.

In an interview with Zaman al-Wasl, Alloush indicated that a new UN aid convoy arrived on Sunday, at the Bab al-Hawa crossing in the northern Idlib governorate, explaining that the convoy consisted of 10 trucks containing supplies for tents for those affected by the earthquake.

A United Nations convoy consisting of 22 trucks entered yesterday, Saturday, from the Bab al-Hawa crossing, in addition to 15 trucks belonging to the Turkish "IHH" organization, in addition to several trucks through charities, in addition to a Saudi aid convoy that entered through the crossing. The "bathroom" separates the city of "Afrin" in the north of Aleppo governorate and the state of "Hatay" in southern Turkey.

Commercial fuel convoys are still entering from the "Bab al-Hawa" border gate, north of Idlib Governorate, to the areas controlled by the Syrian opposition in northwestern Syria, amid a shortage of fuel and the use of the reserve stock by the "Syrian Civil Defense" organization (the White Helmets) in light of the continued search operations that trapped under the rubble in the countryside of Aleppo and Idlib.

The "White Helmets" had confirmed on Saturday, in its latest statistics, that the outcome of its teams' response to the earthquake victims in northwestern Syria amounted to more than 2,167 deaths, and more than 2,950 injured, with the search operations continuing to recover the bodies of the deceased in several places in the countryside of Idlib and Aleppo. Working under the rubble of destroyed buildings, in the midst of very difficult conditions, on the seventh day of the violent earthquake that struck the region.
