Activist from Afrin to ARK: More than 700 deaths in Jenderes and the situation is catastrophic
ARK News... Films Othman, a Kurdish activist, said on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, that the situation in Jenderes and Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan is catastrophic, and the number of victims has exceeded the threshold of 700 people.
The Kurdish activist Filamaz Othman participated in the ARK newsletter, in which he said that the number of deaths as a result of the devastating earthquake in Jenderes exceeded the threshold of 700 people, and the injuries amounted to thousands, amid the worsening humanitarian situation.
He added that the search is underway under the rubble for the victims, and most of the people are displaced among agricultural fields and in the wilderness.
He appealed to all humanitarian and charitable organizations to provide aid and assistance to Jenderes, Afrin, and all those affected by the devastating earthquake.
