Dr. Abdul Hakim Bashar to ARK: We are collecting donations for the relief of the cities of Afrin and Jenderes

Dr. Abdul Hakim Bashar, a member of the political bureau of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria and vice president of the National Coalition for Syrian Revolutionary and Opposition Forces, said on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, that the party is collecting donations for the relief of the cities of Afrin and Jenderes in Syrian Kurdistan.

Bashar said in exclusive statements to ARK: "We, as the leadership of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in the Kurdistan Region, have put the tragedy and the victims of the devastating earthquake in the cities of Afrin and Jenderes in Syrian Kurdistan as our priorities."

He continued, "We showed our priorities in Afrin and Jenderes, because Turkey is preoccupied with its victims, and the Syrian regime does not care about what is happening in Afrin and does not care about the situation there."

He emphasized that "the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria has been campaigning for donations since this morning, February 9, 2023, to provide relief to the affected people in Afrin and Jenderes, and the Syrian Coalition is working to support the affected people and provide them with aid."
