Nechirvan Barzani offers condolences on the departure of a friend of the Kurdish people, the Egyptian researcher for Kurdish studies and research, Rajai Fayed
ARK News… The President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, on Friday, offered condolences for the departure of the Egyptian writer and researcher, the head of the Egyptian Center for Kurdish Studies and Research, Rajai Fayed.
Nechirvan Barzani said on Twitter: "With great sorrow, I received the news of the departure of the Egyptian writer and researcher, head of the Egyptian Center for Kurdish Studies and Research, Professor Rajai Fayed."
He added, "With his departure, the people of Kurdistan have lost a friend and loyal supporter of their just cause."
He concluded by saying, "My deepest condolences to his family and loved ones, hoping that Almighty God will shower his soul with the abundance of His mercy and inspire everyone to patience and solace."
Dr. Rajai Fayed spent most of his life studying the Kurdish situation and talking about it in Egypt and the world and has a collection of publications on the Kurdish issue.
Ragai Fayed, born in Tanta in 1943 in Egypt, is an Egyptian writer and political analyst, head of the Egyptian Center for Kurdish Research and Studies, and a member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs. He lived with his family in the city of Erbil for more than 9 full years, from May 1.1979 to August 26. 1988, and he has Testimonies and research on Halabja and Anfal.
