Leader Muhammad Ismail: The Syrian issue is an international and regional issue and is greater than partial solutions and bilateral agreements between two parties

ARK News… The Turkish and Syrian rapprochement tops the street talk in the regions of Syrian Kurdistan, for fear of another invasion of the Kurdish regions under the pretext of the presence of PKK elements, similar to the handing over of the regions of Afrin, Girê Spî, and Serê Kaniyê, and the Syrian regime’s abandonment of those regions.

In addition to that, security meetings and meetings took place between the delegation of the Democratic Union Party administration on the one hand and the regime on the other. These meetings were described as positive understandings and agreements on several matters, according to what was reported by local media sites and channels in the region.

On this subject, our site had to clarify the position of the Kurdish National Council on those meetings and understandings, which will have an impact on the region, as Mr. Muhammad Ismail, a member of the presidency of the Kurdish Council, stated to our site:

“Regarding the meetings of SDF officials with the regime, there is no basis for consensus, with the presence of both Russia and America in the region, and the topics of discussion in the current circumstances are limited to only some specific and logistical issues, nothing more.”

Ismail added, “On the tripartite meeting in Moscow between the defense ministries of Turkey and the regime, under Russian supervision, and the attempts at normalization between Turkey and the regime, our view is summed up that the Syrian issue is an international and regional issue that is greater than partial solutions and bilateral agreements between two parties, which we believe are not in the interest of the Syrian people.”

“Ismail” believes that the best solution, in our view, is the implementation of international resolutions related to Syria, especially Resolution 2254, which all concerned parties agree on for a comprehensive political solution for Syria, which is in the interest of all parties, including the Syrian people.

“Ismail,” in his speech, stressed the importance of providing factors of stability in the region and removing the causes of tension, and the need for all parties, especially Turkey, to take into account the issue of distinguishing between the Kurdish people in Syria and their cause, and the militants who came to Syria, their practices and policies.

Ismail pointed out that in the meetings that took place in Moscow, each party has its own priorities and desires, what matters to the Turkish side is securing its borders in addition to the issue of refugees, and returning them to their homeland, which is about to hold presidential and parliamentary elections and there are transgressions between the Turkish parties in this field, adding that the tripartite meetings will not be able to provide a practical solution to it,

Because Turkey cannot return four million Syrian refugees at the present time and in the current circumstances, the regime is also not ready for that and to issue a general amnesty and return their property and other entitlements, and America is also present in the region and monitors the situation, and it objects to any military action because that Iit will further complicate the situation and does not serve the stability of the region, according to what you declare.
