A Turkish drone targeting a car for the SDF
ARK News... A Turkish drone, on Sunday, January 19, 2023, targeted a vehicle belonging to the Syrian Democratic Forces in Syrian Kurdistan.
An informed source told ARK that the drone targeted the car near the ancient village of Tell Mozan, southeast of the city of Amouda.
No information has been received so far regarding the existence of human casualties.
A few days before January 11, 2023, a Turkish drone targeted a car that was carrying leaders on the international road between the cities of Qamishlo and Hasakah in Syrian Kurdistan.
ARK source confirmed that two leaders, one of them a woman, were targeted by a Turkish drone, and the two leaders are from the Turkish Communist Party (Marxist-Leninist) banned in Turkey.
ARK was unable to obtain other information except that the two leaders were working within the PKK system that controls the management of the PYD in Syrian Kurdistan.
Recently, cities and towns under the control of the PYD administration and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have witnessed repeated attacks by Turkish drones, most of whose victims are leaders and officials of the PKK.
