Idris Zozani: The situation in Shingal is dire and the implementation of the Shingal Agreement is the best solution for the return of its displaced

During his participation in the Rebaz News on Sunday, Idris Zozani, the camp official in Duhok, confirmed that the situation in the city of Shingal is dire and the implementation of the Shingal Agreement is the best solution for the return of the displaced to their hometown and the improvement of the situation, but the PKK and the Popular Mobilization are obstructing the implementation of the agreement to continue to commit violations and smuggling operations.

Zozani added that the Kurdistan Regional Government is working to implement the Shingal Agreement, and one of the provisions of the KRG agreement with the new Iraqi government is the return of the displaced to Shingal and improving the security situation thereby removing the illegal parties (PKK and the Popular Mobilization Forces) from it.

He explained that the new Iraqi government headed by Muhammad Shia al-Sudani is working hard with the regional government to improve the situation of Shingal and has taken steps that were of great satisfaction to the people of Shingal.
