The prime minister of the region allocates about two billion dinars to mitigate the effects of the floods

ARK News… The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, agreed to allocate about two billion dinars to mitigate the effects of torrential rains and floods on the city of Erbil and its environs.

Within the framework of the ninth government's interest in serving the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and taking into account the public interest, the Prime Minister of the region, Masrour Barzani, agreed to allocate one billion and 985 million dinars to mitigate the effects of the floods on the village of "Kurd Jotyar" near Erbil.

This amount will be allocated in cash and in stages, within the investment budget of the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources in the Kurdistan Region.

The regional government takes upon itself the issue of preventing floods and mitigating damage to the cities of Kurdistan, by taking various measures to achieve this purpose.
