A delegation from the leadership of PDK-S visits the Political Bureau of the Turkmen People's Party of Iraq

ARK News... A delegation from the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria, headed by Dr. Abdel Hakim Bachar, a member of the political bureau of the party and vice president of the opposition Syrian Coalition, and the membership of each of the lawyer Saeed Omar, member of the Central Committee and official of the Office of National Relations in the Kurdistan Region, and Muhammad Sherin, member of the Central Committee of the party, on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, visited the political office of the Turkmen People's Party in Iraq, on the occasion of the thirty-fifth anniversary of the birth party.

The party delegation was received by the head of the Iraqi Turkmen People's Party (Irfan Kirkuki) and members of the party's leadership. The two sides exchanged talks about the situation in both Syria and Iraq and the need for coordination between the national components of the two countries that have suffered at the hands of dictatorial regimes in both countries.

The PDK-S delegation confirmed that President Masoud Barzani's speech in 1992 was very important, when he said: (We do not have minorities, but rather all the components of the region on an equal footing), which is considered the basis and democratic and political launch for dealing with the components in the region.

At the end of the meeting, the two parties stressed the need to strengthen relations between the Kurds and Turkmen in Syria and Iraq. The head of the Iraqi Turkmen People's Party expressed his thanks and appreciation for the delegation's visit and stressed his great satisfaction with the rights enjoyed by the Turkmen in the Kurdistan Region.
