Nechirvan Barzani on Christmas greetings: Kurdistan will remain the land of pluralism, coexistence and tolerance

ARK News… On Saturday, the President of the Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, congratulated the birth anniversary of Jesus Christ, stressing that the Kurdistan Region will remain the land of pluralism, coexistence, and tolerance.

In his congratulation, Nechirvan Barzani said: “I extend my warmest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the birthday of our Lord Jesus Christ, peace be upon him, to all our Christian sisters and brothers in Kurdistan, Iraq, and the whole world, and I wish them a feast full of joy and happiness, and that they spend the feast under safe conditions and spend a happy vacation.”

He added, “On this blessed holiday, we reaffirm that the Kurdistan Region will always remain the stronghold and land of pluralism, peaceful coexistence, acceptance of the other, tolerance and harmony among all its religious and national components, and we will work side by side with our Christian sisters and brothers and all components to build the present and a better future for our future generations”, and for a country that protects the rights and freedoms of all its citizens, regardless of their religious or national affiliations.
