Regarding the conditions of the Syrian regime, he stressed that Bashar al-Assad stipulates that Turkey withdraw from the areas under its control in Syria, to start negotiations, but in the end, Russia is the one who takes the opposing decision because it benefits from holding meetings or negotiations between the two parties.

Regarding the expected scenarios, in light of the continuing Turkish threats, and the remaining options before the Syrian forces, he made it clear that the scenario of expelling the PKK members from Syrian Kurdistan is impossible, because the PKK system is the actual control of the SDF and the PYD administration, so what is expected is the return of the regime and its handover of the areas is the closest to implementation, by virtue of the ongoing negotiations between the SDF and the regime.

At the end of his speech, he said that Russia is trying hard to prevent the return of the scenario of Afrin and Serê Kaniyê and Turkey's annexation of more areas, so it is working to reach a common formula and return the areas to the regime.
