ARK News… A delegation headed by Shawkat Barbuhari, director of the Pish Khabour crossing, participated in the mourning council for the fighter Ahmed Battal Osi, which is held in the Saeed Nursi Mosque in the Domiz camp in Duhok Governorate, and they were received by Abdul Karim Mirani and Haji Kalo, members of the Central Committee of the Kurdistan Democratic Party-Syria
The fighter Ahmed Battal was born in the village of Musisana in 1960 AD, where he studied the primary stage, finished middle school and high school in the city of Qamishlo, and then the Teachers Training Institute in Al-Hasakah Governorate.
He joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria in his prime, in 1978.
In 2017, he joined the ranks of Peshmerga Rojava, becoming an officer with the rank of lieutenant.
He was persecuted and dismissed from the teaching staff during his struggle by the tyrannical Baathist regime, on charges of endangering state security.
