Midas Azizi reveals to ARK the American demands of PKK to avoid another military operation in the region

ARK News... Midas Azizi, the official spokesman for the Syrian National Meeting, on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, said that there is secret dialogue and negotiations between the warring and conflicting parties in Syria, and America opposes any Turkish rapprochement with the regime or an agreement between the regime and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) because this is not compatible with its policy and strategy in the region.

Aziz added that the two main American parties have one position on the military operation, so America presents proposals and alternative solutions to Turkey, and is working to hold meetings between Turkey and the SDF. It is impossible for America to agree to any military operation, or a Russian or Iranian project, or even to conclude an agreement with the regime, because those projects are against its interests.

Aziz continued that America is calling on the cadres of the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) to withdraw from the PYD administration in Syrian Kurdistan, to protect the region and spare the region from any other catastrophe, and it does not want Turkey's discontent, and lose its ally to Russia. It is America that works to satisfy both parties, and the final decision rests with PKK. If it acquiesces to the American demands, things will take a more dangerous turn.

Azizi added that there are concerns about the city of Kobani, which is a Russian sphere of influence, and Russia is pressuring the SDF to make concessions, in favor of the regime, but the SDF has no powers other than to implement instructions and orders.

About the Turkish project, Midas Azizi, the official spokesman for the Syrian National Meeting, said at the end of his speech that Turkey seeks to link the Kurdish areas with its areas of influence in Idlib, that is, from Dirk to Idlib, linking the crossings and controlling all joints and economic resources.
