ARK News... On the eighth anniversary of the kidnapping of journalist Farhad Hamo, the Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate Council - Syria, on Thursday, December 15, 2022, held the Syrian regime and the PYD administration responsible for knowing his fate, and it also appealed to all international humanitarian and media bodies and organizations to contribute to finding out his news.

The Kurdistan Journalists Syndicate Council - Syria confirmed in a statement, "Despite the promises of the leadership of the SDF to return to his family shortly after the liberation of the town of Al-Baghouz - Deir Ezzor countryside from the grip of ISIS, the confirmed news about him until this moment is vague, and there are fears for his life after ISIS prisons became run by the SDF."
