ARK News... A delegation from the Syrian Kurdistan Women's Union, on Saturday, December 10, 2022, visited the Girke Lage branch and the families of the martyrs of the Roj Peshmerga in the town of Girke Lage of Derik city in Syrian Kurdistan.

A source from the delegation told ARK: The visit included the family of the martyr Bassam Khalaf, the family of the martyr Jomard Misho, and the family of the martyr Hashim Abdel Qadir.

The martyr Bassam Khalaf was martyred along with his other comrades Basil Haji, Ghamgin Qadri, and Amgiyan Badini on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, in Al-Kharayej School in Tel afar, while they were participating in the war against the terrorist organization ISIS in the Kurdistan Region.

First Lieutenant Jomard Misho was martyred, along with four others from the Roj Peshmerga as officers and fighters, in a battle against ISIS terrorists in the area (Hassan Sham) "Sefdinan village" on 16/09/2014.

The Peshmerga Hashim Abdul Qadir Ezaddin, from the Roj Peshmerga forces, was martyred and three others were injured in a car accident on his way back from a training course years ago on December 14, 2018. The accident occurred on the Qasrouk Hussainiya bridge after two cars collided with each other.
