The National Relations Office of the Kurdistan Democratic Party - Syria had sent a request to the office of the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, Masrour Barzani, to transfer the body of the young Gandhi Hassan from Bulgaria to Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region, to be transferred later to his hometown in Qamishlo city in Kurdistan, Syria.

ARK source said: The Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, sponsored the procedures for transferring the body from Bulgaria to the Kurdistan Region.

After his news had been cut off for more than twenty days, the body of the young Gandhi was found in a forest in Bulgaria. The young man's family also appealed to the Kurdistan Regional Government to transfer the body of the young man to the Kurdistan Region.

Gandhi Hassan, a young Kurdish man, tried to reach Europe more than twenty days ago, on July 27, 2022, but exhaustion and fatigue ended him in the Bulgarian forests on his journey to European countries.

The young man hails from the city of Qamishlo and was residing in Erbil, the capital of the Kurdistan Region. The body is scheduled to be transferred to Erbil and then to Qamishlo to be buried in his hometown.
