Afrin… Militants arrest and torture five civilians in the Afrin region
ARK News... The Syrian armed factions continue their violations against the Kurdish citizens in Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan, the latest of which is the arrest and torture of some young men in Jenderes town.
Private local sources told ARK that members of the "Al-Waqqas Brigade", on 6/8/2022, arrested 5 young men in Hekije village of Jenderes town, "due to a quarrel and a problem at one of the village's weddings."
Their names are:
1- Muhammad Adnan Deeb, 34 years old
2- Ahmed Battal Ibrahim, 20 years old
3- Mohamed Tamer, 23 years old
4- Murad Qaziqli Dalo, 24 years old
5- Jamil Zaki Tana, 26 years old
The source confirmed that they were brutally tortured in the prisons of the "Al-Waqqas Brigade" faction in the village of Marwaniya, which is about 3 km away from Hekije village.
The source indicated that four of the citizens were later released, while Muhammad Adnan Deeb is still in Marwaniya prison and receives severe torture under the pretext of causing that quarrel.
