200 investment projects worth $11 billion in 3 years
ARK News… Over the three years since the formation of the ninth cabinet, the Kurdistan Region has implemented more than 200 investment projects in various sectors, with a capital exceeding $11 billion.
The Kurdistan Regional Government, with its ninth formation, has entered its fourth year, and since its announcement on July 10, 2019, it has faced a number of health, financial, economic, and political crises.
The Department of Media and Information said on its website that the ninth squad has started implementing 201 investment projects with a capital of $11.5 billion in different regions of the Region over the three years.
In 2019, the Kurdistan Regional Government approved 16 projects implemented by local investors, with a capital of $485,204,256 million.
In 2020, despite the outbreak of the Corona pandemic, 76 projects were approved, and implemented by local and foreign investors, with a total capital of $1.984 billion.
In 2021, the government agreed to grant licenses to about 70 projects, initiated by local and foreign investors, with a capital of $8.5 billion.
In the first half of this year, the government granted licenses to implement 35 projects in various sectors, with a capital of $330,696,265 million.
