Study: More than 100 European companies are still operating in Russia
ARK News... A study showed that more than a hundred companies from the European Union continue to work in Russia, about four months after the invasion of Ukraine, which led to the imposition of a set of international sanctions against Moscow.
Bloomberg News reported on Friday that the 116 European companies make up about half of the 247 multinational companies still doing business in the country despite public pressure to punish President Vladimir Putin's regime for the attack, according to research at the Yale Institute for Executive Leadership led by Jeffrey Sonnefeld, according to the German news agency.
The study comes on the heels of a report by a Russian state research institute that said last week that more than half of the 5,000 foreign companies operating in the country have not announced any restrictions on their domestic operations and continue to employ two million people.
