Qamishlo is in the grip of IRG and Hezbollah
Ark News: The Iranian Revolutionary Guards is strengthening its presence in Qamishlo city in an effort to reduce the role and presence of Syrian regime forces and increase its grip on the city, especially in the security square in the city.
According to the Zaman al-Hadath network, the security square under the control of the Syrian regime in Qamishlo city in Kurdistan, Syria, is witnessing deep tensions and disagreements between officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards IRG and Syrian intelligence officers.
According to the network, "The differences described in depth witnessed by the Iranian-Syrian relations, after the Iranian forces took full control of most sensitive areas in Deir al-Zour province and south-eastern villages, and moved into the security square in Qamishlo city, which called the intervention of intermediaries from the Syrian capital Damascus to prevent expansion the problem and turn it into military action between the two sides.
Moreover, the Iranian forces and the pilgrims who are close to them intervene in the affairs of the security forces of the Syrian regime and their work in Qamishlo city, in coordination and cooperation with elements of the Lebanese Hezbollah within the city.
The Syrian regime and the Democratic Union Party PYD share control of Qamishlo city and PYD claims that it prevents any activity or movement in the city without obtaining permission or authorization from it, while the regime and the Baath party carry out their security and organizational activities, and field visits at the level of senior military officials and ministers.
